Where to see the event?
You can see it best from the top of Pilar Pt. Walk up West Pt. rd. to bluff. You cannot enter airbase but you can ascend the bluff on the right. Bring binoculars. Usually the lower (beach) rd. doesn't have much of a view especially during high tides.
